Today I found out about a program I had never heard of before. Texas Women ages 18-44 who are low income or with out health insurance could be eligible for the Texas Women's Health Program. It's a Medicaid program which covers one family planning exam a year, birth control, and some other health related issues.
I can't believe I've never heard of this program and I think it's very important to get the word out there. This program could be extremely helpful to many women.
